The wind up for 2010/2011

Our end of year Picnic was a great success with decent weather for a change. There was lots of food and fun. We said goodbye to a great leader and welcomed two new ones. We’re getting ready for summer camps at Haliburton Scout Reserve and on the Madawaska River. We’re ordering group badges for our uniforms. We’re hatching grand plans for next season and think it’s going to be our best one ever. See you all soon!

Scout bike hike on the last regular meeting of the year

We had a good ride through the Don Valley up to the brick works and then down to the lake where we went canoeing last Saturday. The ride was about 2½ hours long. While we were in the brickworks, we rode all over the site, including to the top of the Governor’s Bridge lookout where we stopped for a bit to look around and take some pictures.
