It’s been a minute since we could go to summer camp and it was great to be outside again. We couldn’t go to Haliburton Scout Reserve, so the search was on for somewhere we could gather. Camp NeeKauNis on Lake Huron was available and was willing to have us, so we booked it with the 3rd Toronto, and Troop 815 (from Baltimore) and off we went. We spent the first weekend working on our canoeing skills, but then we put them to use through the week and also developed some other scouts skills like lashing and making stuff sacs. We had a couple of out trips as well to Wye Marsh and Ste Marie among the Huron.
