MEC’s core purpose is to help people enjoy the benefits of self-propelled wilderness-oriented recreation by selling outdoor gear, clothing, and services.
Once a year our local MEC store hosts a night just for Scouts, venturers, Rovers and leaders. This is a great opportunity to check out great gear and get a %10 discount on that gear. Even if you don’t want or can’t afford new gear right now, it’s a great chance to learn more about dressing properly, choosing tents and sleeping bags, using a GPS or compass and packing your backpack.
In addition, the climbing wall will be open for Scouts to try their hand at climbing. More information is attached.
