While our program has traditionally focused on group and in person activities building leadership and resilience, there are some opportunities and resources for Scouting from home and for Scouting on the Internet. The Scouts Canada website has some good resources for Scouting from Home that are well worth checking out for Scouts, Cubs and Beavers.

For Scouts and Venturers, you may find the Jamboree on the Internet happening this weekend (Apr 3-5) is appealing. I plan to check it out. I’m sure that many folks around the world will have ideas to share.
In the community…
Scouts in many parts of the world are part of the civil response to the pandemic, building facilities, distributing supplies and helping manage people. While Scouts Canada doesn’t have many older youth members these days, it’s good to see the application of Scouting skills in parts of the world where the focus has remained on older youth.
