As part of the refurbishment of Warington we have to address both the entry of water through the deck and the deck that had become spongy as a result of that water entry. Scouter Al came in the morning and led the way by opening the deck to remove the spongy wood. Scouts Hans and Alasdair and Scouter Connie came a little later to help clean out the soggy wood, but I didn’t get any pictures.
I’m going to start with epoxy repairs in the rudder tomorrow and finish cleaning out the bad wood on the deck I hope.
