Beavers camped in a caboose

Colony A had a great Fall camp! Sleeping in Cabooses was very exciting to everyone.

Camp theme was “Paleontology: Dinosaurs and Fossils”. Beavers went in an egg hunt and used their Paleontologists skills to discover dinosaurs. They learned two knots and set some tarps looking for fossils. Animals footprints’ search was a hit in the obstacle course.

They completed their OAS camp skills 1 badge: Learning about emergency services and making related skits for campfire.

Also, part of OAS Vertical 1 badge: Learning about safety playing in a man built obstacle course.

Some were asking to stay longer than two nights but scouters needed their beds and showers by the end of a great camp. 🙂🙂
