2022 Delivery of STAR Santa Claus Boxes

Saturday, Dec 3rd 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM
Warehouse Location: TBA,
but will be in St. Jamestown or Cabbagetown
Scouts in and around Toronto have taken part in the delivery of Star Santa Parcels for many years and the 403rd has done them in our area for more than seventeen years. Want to know what’s in the box, read this.
We need to do the following to make this happen:
- Sign up – Please include your name, email and the number of people coming with you in the comment section. Feel free to sign up for multiple shifts.
- People to sort the parcels on Wednesday, November 30 at 1:30 PM.
- Volunteers doing 2 hour shifts (4 to 8 PM Friday, Dec 2 & 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM Saturday, Dec 3)
- Families and youth to deliver boxes with a wagon, dolly, bundle buggy or carts in the immediate neighbourhood
- Families with cars to take parcels further away
- Adults to stay in the warehouse and direct the pickup of parcels

Public volunteers are welcome and I will sign off on community service hours for students. Feel free to invite friends to join you. Helping out in the community is a key part of scouting. Make this part of your family’s Christmas traditions.
Not yet sure what COVID Protocols will be best, but masking will be strongly encouraged indoors and we will have hand sanitizer.
