Only one spot left for this fantastic opportunity on July 6-12. You’ll spend the week with other Venturers and older Scouts from groups in Toronto and Ottawa learning how to paddle and swim in rapids and then running all the rapids on the Lower Madawaska River: Head of Snake, Rifle Chute, Split Rock, Dogleg, and more. You’ll learn lots of tricks for making gourmet food and having a great time on trip. You will come away with ORCKA tripping and whitewater certifications that are transferable to camps and other organizations. It will be a blast! We’ll work hard, but we’ll play hard too. The leaders are very skilled and certified, but are volunteering to run this trip for Scouts. A similar trip with a private camp would cost you at least double this Scouts Canada sponsored trip.
