This past weekend (May 22-24, 2015) the 403rd Toronto Scouts headed off on their patrol camp at Minden Wild Water Preserve (@ Minden Hills).
The camp was a massive success – and huge kudos goes to the Scouts who planned the entire camp – setting the menu, shopping, organizing the camp booking, organizing the transport. Everything went off without a hitch and they should be incredibly proud of themselves.
The campsite was an absolutely beautiful setting for the Patrol Camp and will be (in a months time) the setting for the Pan Am Slalom Kayak/Canoe races. We were lucky enough to watch the time trials for the Canadian team as well as some international and olympic medalists testing out the river.
